I'm much too apprehensive to try a whole new program when I can't even figure this out so now I'm just stuck. The option to simply 'paste' is not there and I have no idea how to do so any other way. I tried doing what Imago suggested up above and I can get to the part where I copy, but I can't paste them to a seperate folder. I've tried bridging the Daz3d Studio to my PS CC but I can't for the freaking love of me figure that one out. It can be very frustrating but also very rewarding and there are lots of people willing to help at the forums here and elsewhere. You will need to search out tutorials to help but there are many available on the internet and some commercially available ones here in the DAZ shop and at Renderosity, I believe. Each such program has it's own learning curve. ZBrush is another program that can do this, I believe. If you want to draw directly on to the curved surface of the figure (or clothing item) then there are programs that can do that and then export the diffuse (and other maps) such as Blacksmith3D over at Renderosity. Distortion can also be made worse by extreme morphs the same is true for the skin itself but this is usually less obvious. There is the issue that the Diffuse map is a flat surface which is mapped to a curved mesh, and so if you draw a straight line on the diffuse map it may appear distorted on the figure depending on where it is drawn. You can draw with any drawing/painting program such as Photoshop through to GIMP or Paint.NET. You can draw on the Diffuse map (in the relevant textures folder for a character) which you can access via the Surfaces panel.
